They thrill audiences worldwide with their scintillating performances of music and drama from the medieval and renaissance periods. Under the direction of founder Fredrick Renz, New York's Ensemble for Early Music returns to the Cathedral to present what promises to be an awesome production. Featuring early music from the 11th and 12th Centuries, the highlight of the evening will be a fully staged and costumed medieval play entitled: Sponsus, an apocalyptic Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins. Don't miss this time travel experience.

Featuring the Choirs of the Corpus Christi Cathedral under the Direction of
Lee Gwozdz and Greg Labus

The Cathedral Concert Series celebrates the millennium by featuring the beautiful voices of the Corpus Christi Cathedral choirs and the choirs of area churches, along with over eighty members of the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra. Paul Solamunovich, conductor of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, is the guest conductor. The Te Deum, an outstanding choral work by Anton Bruckner is the featured selection for this memorable performance.
